It can be a challenge to find a dining table and chairs set that works in small spaces — a loft, flat, or apartment. Even when you find a table that fits, the chairs often take up too much room.
Fusion from Ikea is available in brown and constructed of ash veneer with a lacquered finish, and steel legs for the chairs. The table is less than 3 feet wide — small by normal industry standards, and well suited to apartments, condos, or lofts where space is minimal.
The seats offer an unusual way to sit, with the back asymmetrical so they tuck under the top. Simple, and a good fit for a small dining area.

Original price: $299. This Ikea dining table set was introduced in 2008, so it's now effectively vintage furniture — you can find them secondhand for around $50 if you're patient.
